Sperm banks can be confusing—even for experienced IUI providers. In this first session of the Queer Fertility Masterclass Series, we’ll demystify how sperm banks operate and how to confidently support your clients through the process.
Understanding Sperm Banks & Sperm Samples will cover:
Historical context of how the sperm bank model we have in the United States developed
How banks select sperm donors
Why is there a shortage of BIPOC sperm
Understanding semen analysis and sample integrity
Ethical challenges with banks and anonymous sperm
How to help your patients, clients and peers navigate sperm banks
Plus live q&a time to answer all of your questions about banks, sperm reports, and low intervention IUI.

“Nine years into providing IUI care, I still couldn’t find a single continuing ed course for midwives like myself. So I stopped searching—and created the class we need.” - Ray Rachlin
