Our next practice picnic will be Sunday April 28th from 10am-12pm at Clark Park in West Philly (rain/baby happening rain date May 5th). We LOVE our clients and would love to see your growing families there.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​⁣We'll be meeting next to the toddler playground on 43rd Street and Chester Avenue, and setting up some tables, chairs and blankets as well as plates and utensils. There are bathrooms located 1 block away at Greenline Cafe and Clarkville on 43rd St and Baltimore Ave. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

For those of you for which it's your first practice picnic, just bring your pregnant belly/cute baby, family, and a dish to share.

IUI for Midwives

IUI for Midwives is designed for midwives, OB/GYNs, family doctors, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants who want to help LGBTQ+ and solo parents grow their families through unmedicated Intrauterine Insemination (IUI). This 5 week online course will teach participants about IUI, how to perform this fertility procedure, and ways to integrate this service into your clinical practice. We will discuss why people may pursue IUI and how to best support a wide range of clients in their fertility journeys with an emphasis on serving LGTBQ+ community.

IUI for Midwives is offered over five classes, which cover:

  • LGBTQ Fertlity Needs

  • Introduction to Fertility Care and Cycle Tracking

  • Providing Preconception Care

  • Performing the IUI Procedure

  • Deepening Understanding: Trans Care, Infertility, and Starting an IUI Business

Additionally there will be an in-person skills workshop May 11th, 2024 from 1-4pm New York, NY

Classes take place over Zoom on consecutive Fridays from 12-2PM ET, beginning March 29th and ending April 26th, 2024. Replays of all classes will be available, and closed captions in English are provided.

IUI for Midwives is approved for 20 ACNM CEUs, which will be available as an add-on.

Queer & Trans Family Picnic

The weather is warming up so we're back to picnic season! Join us for our queer and trans trying to conceive, pregnant and new baby meet up is happening ​​​​​​​​​Sunday March 24th from 2-4pm in Clark Park​​​​​​​​ (43rd & Chester) near the playground.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​⁣​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

We will bring a blanket, plates, silverware, napkins, a table and a few chairs and bubbly water. Bring some light snacks to share, blankets and chairs if you'd like, or just bring yourselves!​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
