Below are my general fees for service. I accept cash, check, HSA/FSA. If you are a home birth midwifery client with out of network benefits or PPO insurance plan, I can bill your insurance as an out of network provider. Click here for a guide on how to call your insurance to determine what your coverage you may have.
I also accept payment from Health Share Ministries. Due to state regulations I am not able to bill any Medicaid plans in PA or NJ. I charge an additional $200 transportation fee for clients located more than 1 hour away from West Philadelphia.
For families needing long term payment plans, I'm contracted with United Medical Credit.
For home birth midwifery care, I offer a 30% discount for medicaid-eligible families and a 10% discount for early pay clients. I also accept partial barters for goods and services. My current barter interests include (but aren’t limited to) photography, website and graphics, bodywork, CSA and home cooked meals.

Some insurance companies pay some of the cost of out-of-hospital birth with a Certified Professional Midwife, and some don’t. A great place to start is calling your insurance company to enquire about benefits (check out my guide for calling your insurance here) or contacting my biller STM billing to check into your policy.
